Irida Labs implements embedded computer vision applications focusing in the implementation aspects of modern AI technology. The company implements applications for any platform, using the state of the art in the fields of heterogeneous parallel computing and machine learning and deep learning for embedded devices as small as it gets.
Dr. Nikolaos Fragoulis received his B.Sc. degree in Physics in 1995, his MSc in Electronics in 1998 and the Ph.D. in Microelectronics in 2005 from University of Patras. He has published more than 30 journal and conference papers, 5 US-patents and 3 book chapters. He has worked in the private sector as a software engineer and as an embedded systems engineer. He also worked as a research fellow in the Electronics Laboratory, University Of Patras while he has participated and managed several national and European-funded RTD projects. In 2009 Dr. Fragoulis co-founded Irida Labs company, specializing on embedded visual intelligence by using computer vision and AI, where he’s currently the CTO, also leading the MANTO developing team.
